PrimeSIL Amino is an amino propyl bonded phase. It can be used in three modes: NP-mode, RP-mode and IC-mode. In the NP-mode it is an alternative to the silica packings but offers different selectivities. In the RP-mode the packing is mainly used for carbohydrate analysis. In the IC-mode the bonded phase can be used as a weak anion exchanger (WAX) for the analysis of anions and organic acids. The packing shows excellent properties in Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) where dense gases are used as mobile phases.
